Skegness Aquarium
As part of our topic ‘Blue Abyss’, Y4 went on a trip to Skegness Aquarium. It was a very educational day full of learning and new experiences. As part of the day, we learned all about the five layers of the ocean and which creatures live on each layer. We had a competition to see who could remember the facts, it was very competitive (not just for the children). We also drew our own fish that glowed in the dark then had to tell everyone what type of fish it is and which layer of the ocean it lives. We saw a huge range of different fish and sea creatures and even experienced feeding time in the large tank with a questions and answer time with the diver. A great day out was had by all and a wonderful educational experience to add to our learning at school.
