Children in Year 1 had the exciting opportunity recently to journey into space with the Star Linc Planetarium. The children were able to imagine walking to an aircraft, before moving on to discuss an astronauts journeys into space, the Apollo moon landings and UK astronaut Tim Peake’s journey to the International Space Station. Finally they explored the night time sky looking at constellations. The children thoroughly enjoyed their time in Space.
