Welcome Park Academy.
If your child was born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019, they will be eligible to start primary school in September 2023.
The application process for starting primary school for the first time in September 2023 is opening on 14 November 2022 and parents/carers have until the national closing date of 15 January 2023 to submit an application for their child. Please note that it does not matter how soon you submit your application as long as you submit it by the closing date. All applications received by the closing date will be treated equally. However, if you submit your application after the closing date it will be processed as a late application and this could result in your child not receiving an offer at your preferred school.
National Offer day is 17th April 2023. Parents who applied online will be notified by email of the outcome of their application. Letters will be posted to parents who did not apply online. No decisions will be issued by telephone.
Detailed information on Parents Meetings and Stay and Play Sessions will be sent out to parents once offers have been made.
