Art in Nature

Year 2 Foxes were extremely lucky to have the support from Mr Whiting this afternoon for their Art lesson. The children learnt about the artist Andy Goldsworthy and has a go at interpreting some of his natural art work outside in the woodlands. Fantastic work Foxes.

Year 1 Dolphin class have been making “autumn slime”! We used a base of soap, and added different ingredients we could find in the school woodland. We picked up, grabbed or dug up different things, added them or dropped them into our cups, and mixed or stirred them all together to make an exciting seasonal slime! Why did we do this? So that we can make an exciting set of instructions to tell the children in other schools how to enjoy safe outdoor activities in the autumn!
