Some of our KS2 children had a fabulous afternoon of training yesterday with the Boston & District School Partnership team. They learned a range of techniques and many new games so they can become effective Playground Leaders within school.
WOW! What an amazing day we had in Reception on Monday! 🦔🐰😁
All of the children participated in various activities which all supported the introduction of our new theme for this term, ‘Stars and Sparkles’.
The children demonstrated great listening skills throughout the day and it was so clear to see the learning that was taking place. All of the children developed their language and had their vocabulary extended by participating in real life experiences.
I think it is fair to say that the favourite activity of the day was toasting marshmallows over the fire (the children enjoyed eating them!), closely followed by having a go using a sparkler.
The children may have come home a little brighter than normal, as they had a go at creating fireworks using bright coloured powder paint and puddles. Miss Clarke’s Wellies were no longer black at the end of this activity!!
An amazing day was had by all!
