Congratulation to our year 3 and 4 children who took part in an Indoor Athletic competition. They showed great sportsmanship and enthusiasm in their events and came away with 1st place medals!
Year 2 celebrated the end of another fantastic term with a WOW day. The children came dressed as kings, queens, knights and peasants and enjoyed a medieval style banquet for their lunch. During the afternoon year 2 displayed the castles and shields they had made to the rest of the school and later their parents and carers were invited in to look as well.
Well done year 2 you have produced excellent work!
As part of our topic ‘Blue Abyss’, Y4 went on a trip to Skegness Aquarium. It was a very educational day full of learning and new experiences. As part of the day, we learned all about the five layers of the ocean and which creatures live on each layer. We had a competition to see who could remember the facts, it was very competitive (not just for the children). We also drew our own fish that glowed in the dark then had to tell everyone what type of fish it is and which layer of the ocean it lives. We saw a huge range of different fish and sea creatures and even experienced feeding time in the large tank with a questions and answer time with the diver. A great day out was had by all and a wonderful educational experience to add to our learning at school.
