Year 5’s Trip to Lincoln Castle

To celebrate the end of our topic, ‘Off With Her Head’, the year 5 children were invited to visit Lincoln Castle and learn more about Crime and Punishment during Tudor times. Thanks to the fantastic weather, the children were able to fully explore the castle and breathtaking views of Lincoln city.

To celebrate the work Year 5 have done in music this term, we held a special performance on the playground for all staff and children to see. The year 5 classes have been working incredibly hard to work together and practice their specific roles to create a complex beat using a variety of drums. It was amazing to see how co-ordinated the children were and how they were able to work in unison.
