Introducing our proud and enthusiastic school librarians.
The reception children had a lovely afternoon with their grown ups making a Mediterranean tray bake, learning about their senses and food tasting. They all did a great job cutting the vegetables using the claw and bridge technique. We hope you enjoyed your dinner once you’d got home and cooked it.
Year 4 had an interesting and informative day at Lincoln Cathedral today. They made a stained glass window which every child contributed to making! They matched the design of the huge Dean’s eye window in the north tower of Lincoln Cathedral.
Finally, on the way out of the cathedral, we were told we had been one of the best behaved schools that have ever visited. A great compliment which made the adults very proud! Well done for a great day and thank you year 4
This morning, Year 1 were extremely excited for our dinosaur fossil dig. Our visitor used and explained key words such as fossil, extinct and palaeontologists. The fossils we were able to explore were all organised into different sections. Some fossils were of herbivores, carnivores and even other types of life. We had so much fun!
